Teaching is conducted in small groups as students have expressed appreciation for the individual attention they receive.
The training workshop for Reiki 1 is held over 2 evenings or on one day.
For Reiki 2, the training is offered on 1 evening and one day.
Practise is the key to transformation with Reiki and a program of post course study and meditation is included for each level. A comprehensive manual and a program of study and meditation are included to develop your own personal practice.
Reiki Teacher/Master study program is held over 7 months meeting one a month for a 3 – 4 hour workshop. In between workshops a comprehensive study program is completed. Part way through the 7 month course each student spends half a day with Susie for their Reiki Teacher/Master attunement. Shoden, Reiki 1 In the Shoden, Level 1 Reiki the student will learn to sense energy - Ki, cultivate the energy and use this knowledge to ground and heal the self. Course content is learning the five precepts, breathing techniques, physical practice of Reiki and receiving the attunement.
Cost: $198 Okuden, Reiki 2 In the Okuden, Level 2 Reiki the student will learn extra tools to strengthen their knowledge and connection with the life-force or Ki and will use Ki to connect to others at a distance. Course content is learning to generate more energy, the three mantras and symbols to aid the student in focusing Ki and ‘becoming’ the appropriate energies and receiving the attunement to further develop the student’s energetic connection to Ki.
Cost: $330 Shinpiden, Reiki Teacher and Self Mastery study program At the Shinpiden, Level 3 Reiki, each student who becomes a Reiki Master openly accepts responsibility for their life. The attunement process of Reiki is really exceptional in that it enables you to get a sense of your true essence. When you decide to complete the Reiki attunement process, you take a positive step toward acknowledging your own self-mastery.
During the series of training workshops the focus is on assimilating the Reiki information at every level; understanding the concept of self-mastery; and practising the attunement levels to pass the system of Reiki on to others. With this in mind the fee structure has not been increased since teaching began in 1995. Scholarships are available to people living with HIV and AIDS and to those living with cancer.
